I found this Suzuki DOHC valve cover
on Ebay for $39.00
I decided to refinish it in Chrome Yellow Ceramic
based paint to match my car.
The one on the left is the final
product.
The Second two with red background were the original
auction
pictures and condition received.
The next two with white background are
after I
sprayed them with Krud Kutter
and put them in a hot
dishwasher to clean them.
The under side varnish is
gone and looks like new.
The last on the left still has the masking tape
I used
to protect my paint while I sanded down to bright metal.
I used a
paint paddle and 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper.
I baked the cover in the oven
to cure the Ceramic paint
@ 450 degrees for about an hour.
